Does HomeFix replace a professional contractor?

No. HomeFix is great for minor DIY repairs and understanding issues, but for serious structural, electrical, or plumbing problems, always consult a licensed professional. Safety comes first.

What types of repairs are covered?

HomeFix can help with a wide range of household issues including plumbing leaks, electrical outlets, wall damage, appliance issues, painting, flooring, furniture assembly, and general maintenance tasks.

How accurate are the cost estimates?

Cost estimates are based on average US market prices for parts and labor. Actual costs may vary by region, contractor, and specific circumstances. Use estimates as a general reference point.

Are my home photos stored or shared?

No. Photos are sent to our AI service for analysis and are not stored on our servers after the result is returned. All processing is done in real-time.

Is there a daily limit for scans?

Yes, to ensure service quality, there is a daily limit of 50 scans per device. The limit resets every 24 hours.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Purchase History on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
